3 Things You Won’t Find with CFpromo

Last updated on October 12, 2011 by Sozo Staff Leave a Comment

Okay, like any company, we rely on maintaining and increasing our customer base in order to continue doing what we do. But we realize that the way we do business isn’t well-suited to everyone. So in order to save you time and energy as you consider the various sources for your promotional merchandise needs, we want to be pretty open about who we are and how we do business—as well as what we don’t do. For most—well, all—of our 25,000+ customers, what we do totally makes sense. Many of them are listed on both our customer lists and the prestigious Fortune 500 list, but that doesn’t mean that what they like about us will make sense for your company, too.

Without further ado, here are some characteristics that don’t describe CFPromo. Honestly, if these are the kinds of things you’re looking for in a custom promotional products company, you’d do best to look elsewhere.

1. Anonymity

If you want to use a big company that’s likely to forget who you are and get your order lost in the shuffle, you really shouldn’t go with CFPromo. We’re no longer the single-location small startup we were 10 years ago, but those beginnings aren’t too far in our past that we’ve forgotten them. We still believe in letting our customers talk to real live people when they call, and we enjoy going out of our way to meet our customers’ needs. We value every single one of you. But you may not want that kind of personalized service or small-business TLC. If that’s the case, there are plenty of other companies that will process your order, thoughtlessly.

2. International origins

your custom promotional products companyOkay, we do have 100 international partners to serve our ever-expanding customer base, but we’re still headquartered right here in the good ol’ U-S-of-A, South Dakota, to be precise. When you buy from CFPromo, you’re supporting an American company that began through the entrepreneurial spirit celebrated in the heartland of this great nation. If you’d rather give your business to some huge enterprise sourced in China, then be our guest. But if you want to have conversations with people whose first language is English and who probably barbecued and watched some fireworks last July 4, just like you did, CFPromo is the way to go!

3. Overwhelming listings

This is certainly the industry-standard way to do business in this world of promotional marketing in which we work and live and breathe. In refusing to take part in this status quo way to go, we’ve realized that a lot of people like the way we think. You may not be one of them, though, so let us explain. We don’t list all bazillion types of specific ink pens that we can personalize and sell to you. Instead, you can ask us about the exact type of pen you’d like to have, and we can let you know about a few models that fit your specifications.

Yeah, we’re really serious about the whole customer service thing. But that might not be your thing, so we wanted to warn you, just in case.
