Best Kids Study Loft Beds, Part 2

Last updated on June 28, 2016 by Sozo Staff 1 Comment

In Part 1, we looked at a few different styles of Study Lofts, ranging from one with a low Captain’s Bed style to an Ultra-High Loft bed. Now we’ll look at a few somewhere in between, with some unique options we think you’ll really like. As an extra bonus, your kids will think they’re pretty cool, too!

Maxtrix® High Loft with Desk

Known for its ability to morph into various heights and styles, our Maxtrix furniture system is the perfect choice if you want a single bed that will take your child from the toddler years through the teen years. You can start with the Basic Bed or a Loft with Top Tent and Slide for your little adventurer — or a Princess Poster Bed for your little darling. Then let the very same bed take your growing child to the next level, when you convert it into a loft bed!

The Maxtrix High Study Loft offers 52 inches clearance under the top bed but is also available as an Ultra High Loft, offering 58 inches clearance. The Maxtrix Study Loft has space for either 1 or 2 under-desk, 3-drawer units; the space below the bed can even be left open, if you’d prefer. The Full-Width Desk is 24 inches deep and extends from one end to the other end of the bed. Bed Ends are available in your choice of curved, Panel, or Slatted style.

The Hideaway Loft

hideaway loft bed pewterA child’s dream come true, the Hideaway Loft makes the most of the space under the bed by incorporating an L-shaped Hide-Out, providing the perfect hiding place for your child’s imagination to take flight! That extra, kid-friendly bonus doesn’t have to mean sacrificing storage space, though. It still includes a Side Storage Chest, 4-Drawer Staircase, as well as the Deluxe Desk. The Desk includes 4 drawers as well as an open shelf; the Chest is positioned on the opposite side of the staircase, which can be positioned on either the left or the right side of the bed.

While the L-shaped Hide-Out is certainly the perfect spot for reading or pretend play, it also sneaks in a bookcase with lights as well as 2 hanging bars, to provide closet-style storage. Truly an all-in-one unit, this one is sure to be a favorite for both you and your child! Hand-painted decorative drawer pulls feature fun colors as well as images that reflect your child’s interests.

Even though we’re not really supposed to play favorites, we have to admit that these two are some of our most fun options. But please, come check them out for yourself! Our Long Island Showroom is always being updated with the latest and greatest in children’s bedroom furniture.
