Combs Concrete Construction – Our Commitment to Quality

Last updated on December 26, 2018 by Sozo Staff Leave a Comment

Combs Concrete Construction (combsconcrete.com) has been providing customers with top-notch service ever since our earliest days in the Dayton/Miamisburg, Ohio area beginning in 1955. Our founder Ray Combs, a United States Army veteran, gained a reputation as a local expert in constructing stem walls, footing, flatwork, and poured concrete basements. In spite of his early success, the economic recession of the 1970’s and the harsh northern climactic conditions gave Ray the idea to move his business down to the Southeast. After relocating to Charlotte, North Carolina in 1982, Ray and his family worked hard to build a successful company in this new location from the ground up.

Today, Combs Concrete Construction employees still strive to exceed customer expectations both in the products we have available and the service we provide. We take care of commercial, industrial and residential construction projects to suit the varying needs of our clients. We still offer flatwork, footing, stem walls and poured concrete basements just like we did back in the 1950’s. Now, however, we also work on decorative concrete, restore existing concrete jobs, complete home additions, turnkey footings, foundations, and exterior concrete work, and lay foundations. We even offer hauling and grading to both home builders and commercial contractors throughout North and South Carolina. When it comes to concrete work, we’re known throughout the industry for our professionalism and excellent results.

Charleston, South Carolina’s Low Country, Mount Pleasant, Johns Island, and James Island, South Carolina, as well as Wilmington, North Carolina customers, count on us for prompt, reliable service. Our customers love our premium craftsmanship and attention to detail, and our employees appreciate our positive work environment.

Apartment complex project

Due to the size of the team of highly capable and loyal employees we’ve assembled over the years, we’re equipped to handle numerous jobs at the same time. That means by choosing to work with our team you may not need to wait as long for service as you would if you went with some of the area’s smaller construction companies. We understand how frustrating it can be when you have a project that isn’t moving forward due to construction team delays. That’s why we believe in meeting the demand for our services with more than adequate resources and plenty of skilled construction workers. We take on large, complex jobs that some other construction companies simply don’t have the manpower or skill to tackle. In the future, we fully expect to expand our operation to accommodate even more growth. We’re excited about what the years ahead have in store for our team at Combs Concrete Construction as well as our valued customers.

Simmons Park, Charleston, SC
