You have spent years saving to build your dream home, and it is likely you will want one special feature that is unique and stands out in your home. When people drive up your lane, you want their eyes to take in every inch of the aesthetic exterior that you have chosen, from the design of the home to the landscaping. However, when you open your front door, you want your guests to see something that they have never seen before: customized, or even EXTREME customized hardwood flooring that shines throughout your foyer and into the adjoining rooms.

By choosing a reputable manufacturer with a crew of trained professionals using a state of the art mill and specialized tools, you will ensure that your flooring is customized to your specifications. Although Rehmeyer Wood Floors began as a small business selling their products to local homeowners, businesses, and contractors in the southern York county, Pennsylvania area, it has now grown to provide customized hardwood flooring options in not only the United States, but also Canada as well.

Rehmeyer Wood Floors’ 10,000 square foot mill uses specialized machinery and hand tools to customize your flooring and mouldings to fit the appealing theme of your dream home. The first step in their process is to use a RAIMANN Optimizing Gang Ripsaw that will ensure a uniformity in the width and straightness of your wood planks. Their trained crew then uses a Weinig P23E Moulder to precision mill the side profiles of the wooden planks. By using a computer controlled, Grecon Dimter optimizing chop saw, your milled product is then cut to length, ensuring maximum yield and accurate lengths. Before the crew prepares your hardwood flooring for packaging, they use the Fruilmac Randomat to profile the ends and ensure stock is square clamped and flawlessly machined.

While the process of the mill may seem complicated, you can see that Rehmeyer Floors takes great pride in the specialized, state of the art machinery that it uses. While the computerized machinery may ensure the perfect customization per your specifications, it is the skilled craftsmen who use their specialized knowledge and hand tools to further meet the design needs of extreme customization.

By choosing a manufacturer that uses state of the art machinery and skilled craftsmen trained to use hand tools to add the finishing touches to your flooring, you will ensure that your hardwood flooring will be THE feature that takes your house from home to dream home. Rehmeyer Wood Floors offers their customers five collections of flooring options created from numerous types of wood species, including Ash, White Oak, Cherry, Red Oak, Mahogany, Hickory, Maple, White Pine and Heart Pine, Walnut, and the spectacular Purple Heart.

However, Rehmeyer Wood Floors wanted to go beyond the collections and stock options and now offer their customers the opportunity to use their wildest imagination. Thus the idea of “Extreme Customization” was introduced. By using specialized processes, Rehmeyer Wood Floors can use a heat process to add beauty to a custom Red Oak, while also inhibiting insect damage or rotting. By wire brushing and custom sanding a clear grade Ash, texture is added, the grain is showcased, and a vibrant blast of color shines. By envisioning maximum eye appeal, customized 15” wood planks can showcase your great room. The options are endless.
