In Part 1 of “Your Girl’s Bedroom,” we looked at many great options for furnishing a girl’s room. Here are some more great options to explore from The Bedroom Source, located in Carle Place, Long Island!
Olivia Collection
Perhaps you already have a girl’s bed, and you’re just looking for additional furniture. The Olivia collection has three lovely pieces available. The drawer chest has four large and two small drawers. The bureau and bureau mirror will add a romantic touch to any bedroom with elegant drawers and shelves and a beautiful mirror on top.
The vanity set features drawers of various sizes and a storage tray. The crowning touch is the large, round mirror — perfect for applying makeup or doing hair in the mornings!
Isabella Collection
One of the largest collections is Isabella. The furniture is solid, yet feminine, and the darker drawer pulls and handles provide a nice contrast to the white furniture.
If you’re looking for a daybed, this set has two great options! The panel daybed has the traditional back and side railings with drawers underneath the bed. The clapboard bookcase daybed is the same, except the back is a set of shelves for books and more!
The Cape Cod bed features a high, curved headboard with a narrow slat design. The clapboard low post bed has a lovely, curved headboard and footboard with decorative corners.
If you don’t want a footboard, consider the upholstered platform bed. The headboard is curved back — like a chair — so it’s perfect for your girl to sit up in bed! The bottom edges of the bed have a decorative design — adding some flair to the bed.
Isabella’s storage options are perhaps the most interesting of all the options at The Bedroom Source! There are your traditional pieces, of course — the five drawer chest and the dresser with a mirror and six drawers. But even these have unique details — the top drawer(s) of both have a small keyhole, which adds an antique flair to the pieces. The nightstand has three drawers and stylized legs.
The Isabella door dresser has almost every storage space you could ask for — cabinets, large and small drawers, hanging hooks, and shelves. And the piece itself is decorative, matching the clapboard low post bed particularly well.
The vanity desk also contains drawers and shelves, and it also features the antique keyhole in the middle desk drawer. The sliding door chest is tall, containing shelf and drawer space. But the neatest feature of this bedroom piece is the mirror door—not only does it provide a tall mirror, but it also slides back and forth to cover one side of the chest and open the other, making access easy and fun!
The spinning narrow chest gives you multiple options for your girl’s bedroom setup. One side is open shelves and drawers, another is a tall mirror, the third features hanging hooks, and the last one is a lovely, decorative upholstery. You can turn it whichever way you want!
If you need to furnish a bedroom for a young lady — whether she is five or fifteen — you have many lovely pieces at The Bedroom Source — even more than the ones mentioned here! So whether you want to mix-and-match or find a bedroom set, consider exploring all the lovely (but still practical!) bedroom furniture found at The Bedroom Source.
