If you live near New York City, you see plenty of examples of maximizing space: going up, up, up. From parking garages to high rise office buildings, you see plenty of examples around you. But maybe you’ve never thought about utilizing that kind of space-saving brilliance inside your own home. Well, the Maxtrix® Children’s Furniture System, featured at our Long Island furniture showroom, can help you maximize the square footage of your child’s bedroom with the same concept.

Starting with Level 1

The Maxtrix system begins with a Basic Bed. With options of Natural, White, or Chestnut finish, our Basic Bed coordinates with Dressers and other Storage Furniture. The bed includes a premium slat roll that provides exceptional support, especially when compared to most children’s beds. Each of the 14 slats is 3.5 inches wide and is made from solid wood tested to support 800 pounds. Your child will not outgrow this bed’s ability to support him! When combined with a low-profile twin mattress, our Basic Bed will provide your child with a safe and comfortable place to sleep.

Choosing the Next Level

For toddlers, you can add on a Guard Rail for added safety, and you can use the same rail as you raise the bed to the next level. For older kids, the sky is truly the limit! You can transform your Basic Bed into a Poster Day Bed, a Low Loft with Storage underneath, a Staircase Bunk Bed, a Mid Loft with an Under-Bed Curtain, or a High Loft with a Bed-Top Tent, Tower, and Slide. As your child matures into needing reserved study space, you can change out the forts for desks and bookshelves. Or as she enters the sleepover stage, you can help her accommodate a friend by adding a Trundle Bed to her bottom bunk. All of those options are available with the same Basic Bed you had at the beginning.

Realizing the Potential

The examples mentioned above are only that; Maxtrix offers plenty of other possibilities that will help you accommodate your family’s growing and changing needs and preferences. With Triple Bunk Bed options (or even L-Shaped designs incorporating 6 beds), and Trundles that can provide additional sleep or storage space, options are everywhere! Dressers and Bookshelves can slide under beds or convert to free-standing pieces with the Maxtrix Crown and Base Kit.

From Storage Furniture to Accessories and Bedding, you and your child will have plenty to choose from once you decide to go with Maxtrix. And maybe the best part is that you can feel free to change your mind and rearrange the pieces and add to your Maxtrix collection.

Once you start with that first level, our Basic Bed, you’ll start to see the beauty of Maxtrix and build on its potential. You can maximize your child’s bedroom square footage and take it to the next level.
