Summer Breeze Furniture for Girls, Part 2

Last updated on December 14, 2015 by Sozo Staff Leave a Comment

summer breeze bookcaseWhat do you think of when you hear the phrase “summer breeze”? A series of multi-sensory thoughts flood my mind, ranging from the scent of wildflowers to the feeling of the wind gently tugging at my hair and even the sound of rhythmic melodies from birds up in the trees. I’m lying on a hammock, with the sun kissing my bare shoulders with its warmth. I’m a girl again, foot loose and fancy free. That’s the idea behind the Summer Breeze Collection, starting with the beds and continuing with these wistfully designed storage pieces.

Summer Breeze Bookcase

The Summer Breeze Bookcase includes two adjustable shelves as well as a single fixed shelf, set atop two drawers. Two baskets are also included. The drawers pull out with simple wooden knobs and are constructed with French dovetail fronts and lap joint backs.

(All drawers in other Summer Breeze storage pieces have the same construction specifications.) The drawers are deep enough to accommodate toys, baskets, or other items you might want to set out of sight. The bookcase stands 60” high and is 27” wide and 16” deep.

Summer Breeze Nightstand

The Summer Breeze Nightstand has a single door topped with a single drawer. The Summer Breeze Dresser has adorable turned feet and delicately formed drawer pulls on its seven drawers. The Landscape Mirror above it is flanked with corkboard-backed photo frames for easily changed décor. If you prefer, you can choose from the Vertical Mirror or Vertical Scroll Top Mirror. The Dresser is 58” wide, 18” deep, and 42” high, and the Landscape mirror is nearly as wide at 46” and adds 41” in height.

Summer Breeze Bureau and Mirror

The beadboard paneling and delicate drawer pulls add style amid the simplicity of the Summer Breeze design. The Vertical Mirror (pictured) can be switched out for the Vertical Scroll Top Mirror. The Bureau itself measures 50” wide, 18” deep, and 42” high, and the Vertical Mirror is 34” wide and adds 39” in height.

Summer Breeze Drawer Chest

The Summer Breeze Drawer Chest has five drawers with simple white wooden drawer pulls. It stands 51” high and is 40” wide and 18” deep.

Summer Breeze Door Dresser

The Summer Breeze Door Dresser can be used as a changing table but can later transition into a dresser by adding a mirror. It comes with three drawers and two adjustable shelves behind the single door. It stands 34” high and is 50” wide and 19” deep. It can be paired with the Vertical Mirror.

Anti-tip hardware is included with all storage pieces.
